SUPPLE-PEDIC thirty-year warranty works as follows:

The first 10 years is replacement at no charge to the customer.

The following 20 years is replacement at a prorata charge for the years used. 1 year divided by 30 years equals 3.3% per year charge. Thus after 10 years the customer would pay for the years of use at 3.33% for each year used. If the product became defective between years10 to 11, the charge would be 10 years times 3.33% or 33.3% of the then current manufacturer's suggested retail price. For example if the mattresses' suggested retail price was $1,000 the customer would pay $333.

If the mattress were 15 years old, 15 times 3.33% equals 50%. The customer woulod pay 50% of the then current manufacturer's suggested retail price, or $500 in the above case.
